What is Camogie?

Camogie is the Irish women’s stick sport – similar to hurling but with its own distinct rules and history. It’s one of Ireland’s national games and is played by thousands of women worldwide.

The sport requires speed, skill, and hand-eye coordination, making it both challenging and rewarding to learn.

Our Team

We’re a growing squad with players from Ireland, Austria, Germany, and beyond. Many of our players had never played camogie (or any stick sport) before joining Vienna Gaels.

We compete in European tournaments and work with our hurling teammates to develop skills and game knowledge.
